About me
Greetings! I’m Lit Ho Yin, or you can refer to me as Roger. I’m a fourth-year electrical engineering major undergraduate studying at the University of Hong Kong. Some of my hobbies are playing PC games and listening to music. I like to mess around with computer hardware or simple electronic circuits when I’m free. I’m also interested in AI and want to explore its application.
I am not an artist or a designer and webpage design is not my specialty so the visuals of this site will be average at best. I apologize for that in advance.
About this site
Why did I start this website? I’m not sure, but it was probably because I was bored.
What am I going to do with this site? I’m also not sure, at least, not yet. But for the moment, irregular website updates will be made until I find a real purpose for it.
What is this site hosted on? My server computer used to have an old Haswell i5 CPU but recently (March 2023) I upgraded it to a second-hand server-grade CPU. Specs are listed below.
- CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2666v3
- RAM: 4x16GB Micron ddr3-1866 recc
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 12GB
- OS: Windows 10
I would not recommend you copy my specs because the cost-performance ratio is not that much greater than simply getting the latest CPUs. The trouble of getting old Xeons to work and the additional maintenance cost make it not worth it. But I always had special feelings for old server hardware so I built it anyways.
